Wirehaired Pointing Griffon

Yogi Von Herrenhausen, AKC registered, long-lineage of pure-bred WPGS from the breeding of Barbara Smith, a founder of the breed in the USA. He was used for hunting birds, achieving longevity and enthusiasm for the sport through all 15 years of his life. He was NAVHDA tested for Natural Ability, earning Prize Three. His coat was medium dense and provided good protection in the field. A loyal companion with a sense of humor, he quickly learned a variety of tricks that he was eager to show off. He was of standard height, weight and length for the breed. At 11 years of age, his sperm was collected for storage; he is the grandfather of a one-year-old AKC conformation champion and NAHDA Prize One winner.
